Under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may Allah protect him, the United Arab Emirates was able to take first place globally in 121 indicators and first place in the Arab world in 479 indicators, as well as occupying its place among the best five countries in the world in 189 indicators. And here we are today to begin a new chapter of development and achievements leaps at all levels. Once wise leadership has declared Year of Preparation for its 50, work continues on the same approach in developing comprehensive development plans for the next 50 years, which starts from the year 2021 (the Year of the Golden Jubilee) to the Year of the Centenary. And in the footsteps of the founding fathers, we are moving together towards an ambitious vision to be, with God’s blessings and guidance, the best country in the world by 2071 AD. The whole world has witnessed the brilliant opening of the most wonderful event in the world (Expo Dubai 2020) to prove to everyone that there is no word “impossible” in the dictionary of the Emirates under an ambitious vision and under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of the UAE Dubai) and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces). And here we are today reaping the benefits of continuous work and a bright future for us and our children. Everyone is involved in the development process from all members of society from citizens, residents, government sector, and the private sector in designing the future of the next fifty years in the UAE, so we are publishing the special issue of the Municipalities Magazine under the slogan (Together for a Promising Future) to highlight these achievements and share this achievement so that it always remains in memory and conscience, and we invite Institutions and companies to participate   And reserving advertising spaces with us in making the event a success, hoping that Allah Almighty will sustain the blessing of the homeland and protect it from all evils.
